What Happens When Your Nudji Free Trial Ends?
Your account goes read-only after 7 days — proposals are preserved, tracking links stay live, but no new uploads or alerts until you start a plan.
Your free trial lasts 7 days from the moment you sign up. During the trial, you have full access to every Pro-level feature and can upload up to 3 proposals.
When the Trial Ends
The moment your trial expires, your account switches to read-only mode. Here's what that means specifically:
What you can still do:
- Log in and access your dashboard
- View all proposals you uploaded during your trial
- See full analytics for each proposal — sessions, Attention Score, Page Heatmap, all session history
- View your nudge alert history in the in-app inbox
What stops working:
- Uploading new proposals
- Nudge alerts — no new alerts fire for any proposal
- Your existing tracking links remain live — clients can still open and view proposals — but you receive no alerts when they do
Your Proposals Are Not Deleted
Nothing is deleted when your trial ends. All your proposals and their analytics data are preserved indefinitely.
If you start a plan later — even months after your trial expires — your proposals and all their historical data will be there waiting for you.
The Read-Only Banner
When your trial has ended, a banner appears at the top of your dashboard:
"Your free trial has ended. Your proposals are read-only. Start a plan to continue."
The "Start a plan →" link takes you directly to the billing section where you can subscribe.
Restarting With a Paid Plan
Start a paid plan from Settings → Billing or the banner CTA. As soon as your subscription is confirmed:
- New proposal uploads are unlocked immediately
- Nudge alerts resume for all existing proposals — if a client opens one during your read-only period, you'll start receiving alerts again
- Your proposal count for the new billing cycle starts at 0 (previous trial proposals don't count against it)
Trial Warning Emails
You'll receive reminder emails from Nudji before your trial ends:
- Day 5 of 7 — a reminder that you have 2 days left
- Day 6 of 7 — a final reminder with the expiry date
After your trial ends, you'll receive a "Your trial has ended" email with a link to start a plan.
If you'd rather not receive these emails, you can unsubscribe from marketing emails in Settings → Notifications or via the unsubscribe link in any of the emails.
